Our story
We started Contractor in Texas after one too many horror stories.
Friends and family kept running into the same problems: no-show contractors, surprise charges, and no clear way to know who to trust. Meanwhile, honest, hard-working pros struggled to reach homeowners and get paid fairly and on time.
So we built a marketplace that fixes both sides at once. Homeowners post a project for free and receive competing offers from contractors whose licenses and insurance we've verified. Every dollar flows through milestone escrow, so money is only released when work is approved.
Today, thousands of Texas homeowners and contractors use the platform every month — from Houston to El Paso — to get great work done with confidence.
